A social gathering to kick off Fond du Lac’s Art All Around festival and encourage art making in the moment. Whether a painter, drawer, sculptor, poet or musician, this is a great way to be surrounded by artists and to work in a positive and creative environment. Artists are encouraged to bring new or unfinished pieces and the tools needed to create art.

Public will be able to tour and talk with artists between 5 and 9 pm.

Gallery Night is open to the public and is a fun and free way to explore the arts in Fond du Lac. Each gallery offers a unique art experience with changing exhibits featuring local and regional artists, artist talks, demonstrations, hands-on projects, music and more.

Gallery Night is from 5 -9 pm. Walk through our beautiful Downtown and support the local economy with one-of-a-kind gifts of art. Start your own art collection or add to your existing collection while enjoying all the activities during these special evenings.

Chalk-All-Around @ Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts

Jamie and Craig Rogers of Rogers’ Creations will create a site-specific masterpiece for THELMA Saturday, June 2 as part of Fond du Lac’s Art All Around festival. They will be working on THELMA’s outdoor Plaza from 7 am until the start of the Kip Jones concert at 7 pm. Stop by to visit during the day and create chalk designs of your own, and come to the concert to see the finished Rogers’ product!

Appreciating Nature Exhibit and Interactive Displays @ Marsh Haven Nature Center

Come see the beauty of Horicon Marsh and enjoy workshops, guided tours and art for all ages.

  • Tour the nature center interactive museum displays
  • Enjoy the art gallery which will include Audubon and Gromme prints, as well as other local nature photography
  • View the 25-foot Horicon Mural Painting on display
    Make and Take Nature Art Projects for kids – make a pinecone snowy owl, milkweed pod mouse or bark owl.

Special Nature Art Walk – Saturday or Sunday at 1pm
Guided walk through the beautiful prairie and woods at Marsh Haven Nature Center with nature center director and Ecopsychologist, Renee Wahlen.  Find interesting natural items, create art with nature as our guide, and leave the nature art for others to be inspired by.  This one-hour program is included with the daily admission fee.  Come dressed for hiking.  Sturdy shoes, water, sunscreen and bug spray are recommended.

Marsh Haven Nature Center is on the north end of the world famous Horicon Marsh and is a non-profit, volunteer-supported nature center where all are welcome to come and appreciate the wonders and beauty of nature. Visitors often see numerous bird species, including a well-established Purple Martin colony. Wildlife may be seen while wandering through the woodland, prairie, or wetland trails on our 46-acres.
 Marsh Haven Nature Center also offers a bunkhouse and camping area for overnight group stays, a picnic shelter and campfire area, observation tower, a classroom, and indoor theater for presentations.

All included in daily admission.  $2 for ages 15 and over, $1 for ages 14 and under.  Art All Around Special available: One free admission with one paid admission.

City of Sculpture Trolley Tours @ Waupun Public Library

Our Chalk-All-Around event preludes the concert. Art on the Island @ Oven Island – Lakeside Park

Join us in celebrating 50 years of this iconic Fine Arts & Crafts Fair!  Walk through Lakeside Park and Oven Island along the shores of Lake Winnebago, as you browse the works from artists from all over the Midwest.

Come support the Fond du Lac Artists’ Association Scholarship Fund as well as give back to the art community.  Shop from a variety of fine arts and “original-in-design” crafts including paintings, ceramics, jewelry, garden art and more. Bid high in the Silent Auction Pavilion and admire the works of the High School Scholarship recipients, beneficiaries of silent auction proceeds. Enjoy live music and the children’s/youth art area with fun activities that will keep them busy all day.  There will also be a professional graffiti artist, face painter, music, and fun for the whole family.

Come celebrate our milestone 50th annual fair and the Grand Finale of the Art All Around Weekend.
